Christian Education

New Goshenhoppen's Sunday School runs year round, every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. All are welcome to join us at any time!

In July and August, Sunday school meets at New Goshenhoppen Park on Third St., East Greenville.  The rest of the year, students meet in their classrooms located on two floors of the Educational Building.

There are classes for every age: Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First Grade up through Eighth Grade.  At Ninth grade, students attend Confirmation Class.  There is a Senior High Youth class for grades 10 -12.

Several Adult classes are also offered, including a Christian Parenting Class, an Adult Bible Fellowship Class, and an Open Forum Adult Class which is discussion based, focusing on certain Christian topics, themes or video series.

When students reach 4th Grade they are given their own hard-bound, NRSV Bible as a gift from the Sunday School.

Students participate in a musical Christmas Program and an Easter Program each year, as well as contributing to the Neighbors In Need mission project in the Fall and the One Great Hour of Sharing mission project in the Spring.

For any further questions, feel free to contact Jeanine Roth, the Director of Christian Education at roth@newgoshucc.org
